HISTORY
In 2007, the Cabrera brothers embarked on an exciting project with a very clear objective: to promote the gastronomy and leisure of Tenerife in particular, and of the Canary Islands in general. Thus was born the Monkey Group, which began its history with a venue located at the foot of Troya Beach, and which today we all know as Monkey Beach Club.
Subsequently, the Monkey Bar & Grill restaurant arrived, as well as the Italian restaurant Monkey Bravo! Italy, the Asian-themed The Oriental Monkey, and the pastry shop Monkey Sweet Corner. After an impressive renovation, Monkey Beach Club becomes the iconic building as we know it today, incorporating different spaces and bringing together all gastronomy and leisure in one location. Thus are born Bésame Mucho, our restaurant specializing in rice dishes and grilled fish and seafood, Cielo de Monkey, a rooftop where you can ‘touch the sky’ with a Japanese gastronomic offer, and KONG, a bar where you can enjoy the best cocktails in Tenerife. We resurrected the original name of the venue, Playa Club, to name the terrace located practically on top of the beach, where you can enjoy lunches after beach swims, or the best beach parties, or the most spectacular celebrations.

Many familiar faces are part of the Monkey family. Many friends who have visited us throughout our history at the different venues and restaurants, and who, in some cases, always come back whenever they visit the island. There are also many DJs, both local and international, who have graced the DJ booth at Monkey Beach Club, putting Monkey and Tenerife on the international music scene. Thank you all for visiting us!
